"Onymico’s debut album, Living City, is a reflection on living in Long Beach, California - a city known for its nostalgia, diversity, and shifting landscapes.

Inspired by hidden spaces, architecture, vacant lots, urban farms, and underground venues, Onymico’s sounds, rhythms, and textures come to form through modern synthesizers, vintage drum machines and samplers, and computer-based sound design. The songs play on the tension and inspiration to be found in this port city in a post-industrial age - weaving elements of electronic hip-hop, techno, house, and synthwave into harmony.

Living City attempts to communicate the ever-changing nature of the postmodern city - alive, always in flux, and never too tidy."
